Tomb Mimic

"What is that, do you hear it?" The boy craned his neck around, but his grandfather led him from the graveyard with an insistent hand on his arm. "That sounds like father."

"We buried your father, boy. You know better."

"But sir, I hear him. I think he's calling me!"

"It's just an echo," the old man said, and spared the boy a glance. "And it's dead; you shouldn't follow it. Everything echoes as it dies."
