I based this piece with reference from my little sister, whom I'm very close to. I'm very fortunate as I wouldn't even need to say her name three times for her to be there for me.
great! amazing coloration.
Thanks! I sometimes get some pretty nifty results messing around in Lab color space in photoshop.
I really don't know how works the Lab color (and I have Photoshop, Lol!) ... i'll try to find a tutorial somewhere.
It's another color space like CMYK, or RGB. You can switch to it by going to Image> Mode> Lab. The default is usually RGB. Just be careful doing it on an existing piece, as it doesn't support all the layer types, and modes that RGB does. To get the most out of it I also set my color sliders from my usual HSB set up to Lab. L slider is for luminosity, or value. a slider moves between a bias of green and red. b slider modulates between yellow and blue. And you can combine the two to get all the colors in between.
wow this is amazing you are an incredibly brilliant artist ^_^
Oh very nice : )
Gotta love creepy looking girls
Beautiful work. Very well done.
this is gorgeous, love the detials in the morrior!!
Thanks! I built the design for the mirror pretty quickly before I started the piece in earnest, largely utilizing some stock shapes and repeating brushes, then buried the whole thing in shadow. If your interested you can find the process gif in my sketches and alchemy section here...
lovely, very excellent job, the glow is awesome~
Thanks! I was looking at a Paul Delaroche piece called La Jeune Martyre, and was inspired by the way he handled placing a light valued character on an extremely dark background, specifically his edge control.
Lol This is great
Oops, sorry lol , I commented 3x (typo error), this art is very amazingly done, perfect for Halloween.. I like the reaction on his face haha
Awesome job, I think my cousin told me about Bloody Mary but that was like ages ago. Wonderful picture I like the whole mirror thing you did.
