Poor clowns. When did it become law that they all have to be creepy/murderers/rapists/rapist-murderers? I suppose The Joker led us down this path.
The size disparities between the characters is great and really makes this a terrifying scene. The girl also looks younger than she did in the last version, so now the clown's even more heinous than he was in the first place! I also like how tidy the clown's makeup is, despite how messy he is everywhere else. For some reason, his cigar reminds me of Sweet Tooth from Twisted Metal...not sure why, but it's awesome.
If there's anything that could be improved in this piece (if I may be so bold), the girl's expression could probably look more terrified. She's being abducted by a man-mountain covered in blood, but she looks more surprised than "shitting my pants." Maybe it's just me or maybe you didn't want to make the picture too uncomfortable. Either way, the whole thing still turned out perfect for October.
Thanks! Some times throwing some appropriate wallpaper or pattern can be more evocative then rendering out a real background. It certainly helps the facilitate expedience required in finishing a piece on a short schedule.
